The athletic training center can also prepare a program that tests each person’s athletic abilities, with activities like races, vertical jumps, or agility tests. Rates are based on the number of attendees—for groups of nine to 16 people the total cost is $400 an hour, and includes two coaches. (That’s $25 to $44 per person.)

Make associates feel like V.I.P.s with cards that let them skip the line and pay reduced admission at Lotus. The meatpacking district stalwart is offering the cards to planners who book an event there this summer. We suggest a martini tasting with choices that include mango, ginger, watermelon, and lychee, plus hors d’oeuvres, for $65 per person. Add another $20 per guest for a premium open bar.
Splurge

For $135 per person, guests get an hour of open bar and hors d’oeuvres, a three-course dinner (with sea bass, rack of lamb, or roasted chicken entrees), wine, and tiramisu or triple chocolate cake for dessert.
