Immaculate Confections is a new Los Angeles-based dessert company specializing in liquor cakes and cheesecakes. Flavors include dark chocolate bourbon with an orange-Jack Daniel's glaze, vanilla bean rum made with Bacardi Gold and a vanilla glaze, and dark chocolate Kahlua with an espresso glaze. Immaculate Confections caters dessert buffets for events, handles craft service for filming and shooting, and provides boozy sweets for all sorts of parties and meetings. The cakes can also be prepared and packaged as corporate gifts. Local delivery in Los Angeles costs a modest flat fee of $5, and the company will also ship the liquor cakes nationwide. "I was a celebrity personal assistant for 12 years, with a stint at my own catering company in between, before walking away for good—major midlife crisis—last July to concentrate on cakes full time," purveyor Julie Peres explains. "Liquor with a side of cake—how could you not love that?"
