To celebrate a long-standing history of wowing guests through the art of food, Warner Bros. Studios Fine Dining Commissary is releasing a cookbook this fall, called The Warner Bros. Studios Commissary Cookbook.

The studio’s past with food all started with the Commissary Fine Dining Room and adjacent cafeteria. Originally operated as part of the First National Pictures Studios, Warner Bros. Studios acquired them in 1928. From that point forward, the studios’ highly skilled cooks have worked hard to satisfy the discerning tastes of guests and the entire studio family.
From sushi to shawarma, Warner Bros. Special Events Department enhances affairs through food entertainment:

Themed Cuisine
When opening the current DC Universe Exhibit at the Archive, the Warner Bros. Special Events team wanted the menu to reflect the dark whimsy of the assets. By serving colorful candy sushi and flavored popcorn frozen in liquid nitrogen that shrouded the treats in a cloud of smoke, the team brought guests into the fantasy that DC Comics has been creating for years.
Exhibition Stations
During a recent premiere party for a new series set in New Orleans, the buffets were full of action to match the energy of the city. Chefs tossed ingredients in the air at the spicy jambalaya station and flames roared from the made-to-order Bananas Foster display.
Artistic Displays

Presentation is everything since guests' appetites begin with their eyes. Serving hors d'ouevres on silver-framed comic book covers is a small touch that can complete a super hero-themed soiree. For a more elegant environment, using oversized wooden tables, jewel-toned cake stands, and overflowing seafood resting on glistening ice can recreate the vintage indulgence found in the Gatsby era.

No matter where an event is located on the 110-acre studio lot, Warner Bros. Special Events brings its talented food and beverage services to its guests. The award-winning culinary team uses expertise and innovative vision to create unforgettable cuisine designed to delight the palates of each and every guest. No detail is spared, and careful attention is given to special dietary requests. Add a seasonally inspired cocktail to the reception or have the knowledgeable staff pair the perfect wine with dinner to create a memorable experience guests will savor.
