It's not easy to get a crowd of jaded publishing insiders to show some excitement, but the Rosie magazine launch party's enormous gift bag (which we showed you earlier this week) managed to get guests in a tizzy. Calling it the "mother of all gift bags," Inside.com's David Carr gave the following account: "When [Rosie O'Donnell] mentioned that departing guests would be handed 'the biggest, most kickass party bag ever,' the windows of the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers shook with yelps of consumptive anticipation. Two women at stage right immediately tore for the exit, unwilling to wait even a minute for that fabulous parting gift." Carr's verdict: The Kenneth Cole bag "may go down in the swag Haul of Fame."
