If you're looking for an edible holiday treat for employees or corporate clients, Sweet Things Bake Shop's new holiday tins are gifts you can feel good about giving. The bakery, run by the Lower East Side Girls Club, is a nonprofit organization designed to teach girls business and culinary skills. Profits from the sales of their three "urban forest" holiday gift tins (as well as all of their regular products) benefit the program and help keep the bakery running. The tins, which are $25 each, include an organic chocolate bar and a variety of holiday-themed cookies, like snowflakes and Christmas trees. Bulk prices are available, and for orders of more than 250, the bakery can brand the chocolate bars with a company logo or message.
