Hairspray's Big, Kitschy Gift Bag

Guests leaving Hairspray's opening night party received gift bags filled with kitschy, 60's-inspired goodies from Hairspray sponsors and other companies chosen by gift bag company Buzz Bags. Matrix gave guests cans of hair spray, and M.A.C. Cosmetics provided a cosmetic pouch filled with 60's stuff like false eyelashes. Other items were Yoo-hoo, Wrigley's gum (mentioned in the show), Necco wafers (the show's color palette, remember), yo-yos, bubbles and other period toys from Toys "R" Us.
