L.A.'s Newest Venue Dominates Downtown Skyline

Sharon Carter
May 12, 2016

Considered the tallest event venue on the west coast, OUE Skyspace LA brings to life a unique open-air observation deck, showcasing dynamic, 360-degree views nearly 1,000 feet above downtown Los Angeles that extend from the San Gabriel Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. Visual features include iconic landmarks such as the Hollywood Sign and Catalina Island.

OUE Skyspace LA ‘s 70th floor has a modern, sophisticated design that generates amazing acoustics, while the integrated lighting complements the natural glow shining in from the 13-foot glass walls. The in-house event team can align qualified preferred vendors, including a full-service bar, catering, and security services to enhance the premium experience.

Located in the Financial District, the space offers more than 3,600 square feet of an architectural masterpiece and features state-of-the-art audiovisual production capabilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, and an array of technological features leading up to the view. Guests can explore and interact with various landmarks, neighborhoods, and cultural points of interest throughout Los Angeles within the 360-degree digital topography wall. Venture into a world of reflections through the infinity mirror and create personalized reflective images based on body movements with the silhouette wall, both of which were designed specifically for the guests of Skyspace LA to enjoy.

The two observation terraces and breathtaking views of Los Angeles are just the beginning. The spectacular design features interactive and educational components. For instance, the Skyslide allows visitors to skip the stairs for a one-of-a-kind, 45-foot, all glass adventure, which glides daring Skyspace guests along the exterior of the U.S. Bank Tower 70 floors above the ground. The Skyslide offers an unparalleled point of view and entirely new way to take in the California sunshine.

With close proximity to six first-class hotels, the metro service, and the lavish nightlife of Los Angeles, this is the ideal venue to host any event, including corporate meetings, networking events, weddings, and photo shoots.

OUE Skyspace LA opens to the public on June 25. For more information and to book your event today, call 213. 894.9000.
