Close-Knit Crew: A Unique, D.I.Y. Teambuilding Idea

Thanks to Wool and the Gang, employees can go D.I.Y. at their desks with in-office knitting parties—a creative twist on corporate social gatherings. The London-based company delivers full “knit kits,” including yarn, chunky needles, easy-to-follow patterns, and a link to online video tutorials, to offices or event spaces. During the spring and summer, knitters can create a necklace or clutch with jersey and cotton yarns; all attendees make the exact same item, so it’s up to the host to choose the project. Each attendee pays $27 for the clutch or necklace materials, while the winter snood supplies cost $35 each (the host receives a free kit). Wool and the Gang can ship anywhere and will send all supplies to one location.
