
Flanking three sides of the Drill Hall was an art installation by Agneessens featuring a forest of 1,000 different metal parts. Not wanting to be so literal as to use live trees, he positioned the individual pieces on walnut bases. A custom soundtrack, which changed depending on the section of the forest, complemented the installation.

Audemars Piguet took over the Park Avenue Armory's Wade Thompson Drill Hall to host an exhibition devoted to and celebrating the 40th anniversary of its Royal Oak timepiece. Following a black-tie dinner for 200 guests on Wednesday night, the retrospective opened to the public for four days.
