Chevrolet's "Catch a Chevy" Promotion at SXSW

Chevrolet promoted their newest car models with a simple concept: offering free rides around downtown Austin to registered festival attendees. The complimentary promotion hit the streets March 10 through 14, and March 15 through 17.

To highlight the CMYK motif, the organizers created four distinct areas within the venue, each inspired by one hue. In the cyan vignette, blue tables, carpeting, shelves, flowers, props, and decals of HP's logo filled the space.

Designed as an interactive showcase for its new printers, the promotional event from HP March 28 filled a raw west Chelsea space with vignettes modeled after the C.M.Y.K. color scheme. Each booth held activities for guests that also promoted the capabilities of the company’s products.

Content for the "Why VW" campaign is divided into two sections online. "Values" includes content produced by Volkswagen to educate consumers on its core values. "Stories" consists primarily of text, photos, and videos uploaded by Volkswagen owners and fans. At upcoming auto shows, Volkswagen will display some of the videos and also have iPads available for consumers to access the online site.
