A total of 200,000 stems of red and white roses, shipped in from Colombia and Ecuador, decorated the event. A team of 150 staffers worked to prepare the floral decor.

For the New Museum's gala at Cipriani Wall Street, a 270-degree projection from Nuit Blanche New York added pops of color and a more modern look to site's Greek Revival architecture. The installation included work by artist Takeshi Murata, whose piece mixed neon hues with video imagery.

The New Museum displayed the lighting sculptures from Swarovski Crystal Palace throughout the cocktail space, placing the artist-designed chandeliers above the bars and in other key focal points.

Digital Aquascapes

Coral Morphologic (coralmorpho logic.com) is teaming with the Miami Science Museum on a multimedia project to be displayed at the Miami International Airport, where high-definition screens will showcase corals as living art forms in digital aquascapes. The installation is meant to build excitement for the museum’s new $275 million facility opening in 2015.
