At the American Idol finale party, logo pillows were a big hit with guests, many of whom walked out the door with them at the end of the evening.

On the lower level of the Abu Dhabi site, representatives from the tourism board dressed in authentic clothing and provided traditional henna tattoos. Upstairs (pictured), Abu Dhabi team race members could relax in a comfortable sanctuary.

Long, communal tables and lounge-like configurations provided more relaxed seating on the upper level. For centerpieces, the designer incorporated square-shaped canopies, illuminated by candles that hung from the leaves in glass cylinders. Gift bags from sponsor Cartier were placed on guest's seats prior to the start of the event.

A second, all-white lounge area had a ceiling of balloons, glowing bars, and more plush seating. The room also had a street-style hot dog cart, an ice cream bar, and a stage that housed the late-night entertainment.

The central lounge for the cast and studio executives stood opposite the stage and was decorated with plush white sofa, black cushions, and a platform topped with the motorbike and time capsule.

The organizers opted to set up two screens at the western end of the flight deck, allowing guests to see the performances happening on stage as well as clips from the new movie.

To contrast deck's gray flooring and help guests find their way in the dark, the production team used white chairs and sofas as well as illuminated tables.

At the far end of the space was the diner created for Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, complete with red booths and a display case.

Treinen also brought in sisal carpets, chairs made of distressed wood, and rustic crates as coffee tables. On the white lounge furniture, pillows bore preppy patterns reminiscent of the Tory Burch style.

Working with Time Inc.'s Cyd Wilson, Tony Schubert of Event Eleven designed and produced the affair for the fifth consecutive year with an overall look and feel Schubert described as "romantic" and "rich," evocative of the Deco era.
