The party for delegates from California, Alaska, Idaho, and Montana will be held at the U.S. National Whitewater Center, an Olympic-training facility that has the world’s largest man-made whitewater river.

Delegates will enter the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden through the Canal Garden near the rear of the property. Planner Dina Berg Blazek has designed the entire party to be held outside, weather permitting.

Nascar Hall of Fame

The 150,000-square-foot Nascar Hall of Fame will host the delegations from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Tennessee. The complex has more than 40,000 square feet of interactive exhibits and artifacts.

Duke Mansion

About 250 delegates to the Democratic National Convention will attend a welcome event at the Duke Mansion, which was built in 1915 and opened as a historic inn and meeting center in 1998.
