The Portlandia season 3 premiere party, held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York in December, played off the idea of Portland in winter with quirky displays of everyday objects suspended in ice.

For this year’s International Consumer Electronics Show, Intel built an eye-catching display for its booth on the floor of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Tree-like in shape, the installation comprised 176 Ultrabooks flipped open to show screens glowing with alternating colors.

BabyGap promoted its Peter Rabbit-inspired collection on Saturday afternoon at the Gap in the Grove Los Angeles. With celebrities and their kids in attendance, the gathering saw black-and-white cutouts of Beatrix Potter’s famous character, a bunny petting zoo, and a performance by Lucky Diaz and the Family Band. To keep the snacks on theme, BabyGap planted carrot-shaped bags of candy, Goldfish crackers, and jelly beans in a garden box.
