Toms Shoes Decorating Project

Event activity company Wildly Different offers a project that can inspire groups while also providing shoes for folks in need. Guests work to turn a pair of plain canvas Toms shoes into a work of art, using fabric markers, paint, glitter, and other decorating supplies. A representative from the charity selected to receive the shoes can also be invited to share stories about their organization and the children who will benefit.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim Create-Your-Own-Jewelry Activity

Guests engaged in a make-your-own jewelry station at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in July, an apt activity for the style-minded crowd. Attendees at the do-it-yourself-themed poolside cocktail party were invited to make haute couture summer fashion accessories out of the luxury car brand's vehicle leather. Laure Heriard Dubreuil from the Webster boutique and jewelry designer Mary Kate Steinmiller hosted.

Sand Art for Kids at the Bunny Hop

Tiffany & Company and the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s Associates Committee hosted the 22nd annual Bunny Hop at FAO Schwarz Fifth Avenue on March 5. The bunny-theme event included a variety of activities for kids—including a station for decorating spring-y cookies.

Philadelphia Flower Show Make & Take Room

In March, the Philadelphia Flower Show included an activity known as the Make & Take Room, where guests could design their own floral fascinator (headpiece), wristlet, or magic wand. Thousands of creative D.I.Y.-ers took part.
