At the BET Experience Centric Pavilion, produced by Events by Fabulous, fans watched highlight reels from Centric shows, won prizes solving the Soul Train scramble board, and expressed themselves on a graffiti wall.

At the annual BET Pre pre-award dinner at Milk Studios, Andre Wells's production and design included vibrant watercolors, peacocks, and an overall ethereal look and feel. Oversize lettering spelled out the event's name. Strong colors and prints were the name of the game.

At the cocktail reception, Andre Wells's team used tones of red, butter, fuschia, purple, teal, green, navy, and midnight blue to create a vivid look. Club sofas, ottomans, and circle chairs from Revelry were all done in the vibrant tones. A live Twitter wall showed guests interacting on social media.

For the dinner portion, Wells's team used muted grays and silver tones. Silver sequin linens topped mirrored tables in various shapes and sizes, and each table featured different chair styles.

Bright yellow dahlias, roses, calla lilies, and orchids from Eric Buterbaugh added pop throughout the space.

Love Catering catered the evening's meal, and Grey Goose provided drinks.
