During lifestyle Web site Thrillist’s third annual Hotel Thrillist experience in Chicago in July, Axe Hair set up a hairstyling station for men at the opening-night party. Four stylists were on hand to offer services using Axe products. The next day at the event's “Beachside Bash” Axe Hair professionals doled out scalp massages.

Garnier Fructis provided complimentary hair-washing and styling for attendees at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in June. Inside an air-conditioned tent, TV monitors mounted above the styling chairs looped Garnier Fructis content for guests' entertainment as they got their hair styled by professionals.
