Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure
Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure
Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure opened its Las Vegas operation at the end of January, launching the expansion of the NASCAR champ's racing program to tracks around the country. Racers can choose between riding shotgun or taking control of the wheel themselves for six, 10, 20, 40, or 60 laps around Las Vegas Motor Speedway. A 20-lap ride alongside Dale Jarrett is available on select dates. All packages include driver and safety orientation, and drivers are fit for a fire-retardant racing suit, a full-faced Bell helmet, and a safety device. Groups can rent out the track for as many as 100 drivers for the entire day for $50,000; individual rides start from under $200.

The 4,000-square-foot Shine Alternative Fitness space opened February 29, offering a lineup of classes that are available for group booking. Founded by two performers, Dima Shine and Russ Petroni, Shine's classes are intended to develop strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility. “We wanted to bring the many ways that performers stay in shape to the masses,” said Shine, currently an artist in Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity, in a statement. Classes are taught by past and present Cirque performers and fitness experts in related industries, and include aerial arts, gyrokinesis, kickboxing, yoga, pole fitness, and stretch, as well as a variety of dance courses such as ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, modern, and Zumba.

Project Dinner Table
Project Dinner Table
Project Dinner Table brings groups of over 150 people together around one long dinner table to enjoy six-course family-style meals in unique locations like the middle of an orchard or in the outfield at a baseball stadium. Each event's featured chef has full creative license over the menu, the only requirement being to include as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. Project Dinner Table can design custom and private events for large groups, or arrange culinary-based teambuilding events.

For groups, owner Sarah Snajczuk can lead a discussion about using scents for energy, stress relief, and other business-related goals. Sun Buggy Fun Rentals
For an outdoorsy adventure, Sun Buggy Fun Rentals is now offering daylong group tours of the Amargosa Big Dunes. After staffers show the group how to operate the buggies and navigate them over the sand razorbacks, participants are free to explore on their own, though special teambuilding events like time trials can also be arranged. The package includes a round-trip two-hour-long shuttle ride to and from the Strip, or groups can opt to travel by helicopter, which the Sun Buggy team will arrange for an additional $1,000 per person. Lunch and bottled water is also included in the package price. A single-seat buggy is about $514, and a two-seat buggy is about $720, with a four-vehicle minimum to book. Discounted corporate rates kick in at around 25 vehicles or more; the final cost depends on the number in the group. Sun Buggy can accommodate groups of as many as 500.
