Held at Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art, the United Way bash had an interactive picture mosaic that guests helped create. As guests arrived, they posed for photos from a camera that was connected to an LCD screen. The pictures then moved across the screen and were dropped into a photo mosaic to build a blue-and-gold fleur de lys. The activation was created by Picture Mosaics.

An open house for Toronto's boutique condo development at 32 Camden Street enticed buyers by showcasing the building's neighborhood. Produced by Candice & Alison, the "Live Camden" open house took place over a weekend in July and offered a series of pop-up experiences provided by local business owners. In lieu of typical sales brochures, guests received a mock passport upon arrival. The guide invited visitors to check out model suites and available units, and participate in pop-up neighborhood experiences along the way.
