
Guests arriving at USA Network's event atop the High Line in New York last summer found a receiving line of umbrella-wielding staffers, who provided shelter all the way to the entrance of the covered bash.

For a recent press event in Los Angeles, Paul Frank brought Starring Fragrances for a station that gave guests the chance to take home custom fragrances, made on the spot according to their individual tastes.

The event also featured a larger-than-life pool table that mimicked a game of soccer, one of England's top sports.

The House of Extraordinaire by Perrier featured a clear tent structure that included a photo station, which imagined guests in a high-flying hot-air balloon.

Guests could pose for a photo in a glass box that was designed as a magazine cover. The words on the glass highlighted facts about the Concierge Club as well as vendors, sponsors, and talent for the event. The agency designed the activation in-house.

The Turner Upfront took place May 16 at the Theater at Madison Square Garden. In the lobby, attendees could chat with Turner stars such as Niecy Nash of the TNT series Claws at phone stations.

Marriott’s biannual sales and marketing conference took place April 29 to May 2 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. The conference showcased interactive vignettes inspired by 25 of the hospitality company’s hotel brands, all of which were designed by BMF Media Group. Tribute Portfolio’s “Add Your Own Color” featured a life-size coloring book, inspired by the brand’s colorful aesthetic. The content of the coloring book design offered illustrations and names of Tribute destinations.
