The Recording Academy's Grammy After-Party

Studio 54 inspired the look and feel of the Recording Academy's Grammy after-party at the Los Angeles Convention Center in 2011. Curtains made from reflective beads added a vintage touch, and lots of sparkle.

The centerpieces consisted of photos scattered atop raised Lucite platforms, which guests could pick up and look through during the meal. The family-style dinner platters were eventually placed atop the platforms, as well.

For Diffa's New York Dining by Design benefit in 2004, Robert Rufino of luxury jewelry company Tiffany crafted a towering centerpiece of white feathers and strings of iridescent beads. The structure was surrounded by small bunches of white flowers at the base. Other touches included marabou boas, which draped the backs of the chairs, and a white rug.

#12 Benefit
The InterContinental Hotel hosted special guests Leonard Lauder and Deborah Norville at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's event this year. The benefit, which had a Feather, Glitz, and Glam theme, drew nearly 400 guests and raised more than $850,000. An after-party was held for the first time. Next: May 20, 2014

For the grand opening of Mariano's newest Chicago location in October, Kehoe Designs arranged for a disco-themed soiree inside the supermarket. To bring a Studio 54 vibe to the space, the designers used shimmering bars and disco balls for the decor.

Ronald McDonald House Toronto hosted its annual holiday-time gala at the Carlu in December. McNabb Roick Events reflected the Holiday Chic: Sparkle theme in sequined table linens and the crystal candle holders that served as centerpieces.
