
About 750 guests attended the dinner. In the dining area, black fabric draped the east and west walls, while the south wall was an 88- by 22-foot custom green hedge wall installation highlighting the Lacma 50 logo.

A shoot at a modern oceanside venue featured escort cards displayed under a deer head sculpture growing out of a wall of roses. “Escort cards are the perfect place for some playfulness," writes Dowling Coppola. "We cut out the shape of antlers into a few of our escort cards—an homage to the enormous installation of rose petals surrounding our faux deer head—which was the centerpiece to our escort card display. A simple backdrop can elevate your design to an entirely different level of art.”

CasaBubble rents inflatable, modular spheres for events. Envisioned by French designers Frédéric Richard and Pierre-Stéphane Dumas, the transparent, pressurized bubbles can be used as V.I.P. areas, pop-up shops, dining spaces, and more in outdoor environments. There are five different models and the structures come with a wooden floor. Solar cells and battery equipment are also available.
