At Oracle’s CX Cloud Conference in Las Vegas in April, signage and branding blended seamlessly into the Sands Expo’s design, appearing almost like on-message wallpaper.

At 2013's TEDActive, the sister event to the TED Conference, organizers integrated branding into some of the host venue’s quintessential Spanish tiles. The decals over select tiles at La Quinta in California's Palm Springs area also guided attendees along the paths within the properly.














At the 2014 event in Toronto, guests were invited to participate in a doughnut-decorating challenge that let them customize their own treats with toppings such as chocolate and sprinkles.







Now available in Toronto through the Idea Hunter, Original Beverage Toppers are edible disks that can be branded with corporate logos, colors, and taglines. The discs float on top of hot, cold, iced, or frozen drinks and are easy to apply.


Perez Art Museum Miami's March 4 gala drew some 800 guests. With an overall concept from Lee Brian Schrager, the evening included a "Chef's Table" seated dinner, a "Supper Club" lounge, and a "Remix" after-party. In the Supper Club lounge, interactive artist stations included a floor-to-ceiling coloring book, which invited guests to doodle on the wall.

The Chicago art museum celebrated the opening of its new exhibition, "Van Gogh's Bedrooms," with a 450-guest gala on February 20. HMR Designs handled decor, and worked with Frost to create projections of the artist's works that surrounded the dining area. The idea was to let guests feel as though they were dining inside a Van Gogh painting.

The 28th anniversary of the New World Symphony Gala took place March 12 in Miami. The gala honored 1,000 New World Symphony (N.W.S.) alumni. On the step-and-repeat, the names of all of those alumni comprised the N.W.S. logo.

Glamour magazine and Facebook are planning a series of live events to reach young women this election season. The initiative was announced at a launch party that took place in March at the P.O.V. Lounge at W Washington, D.C., hotel. Donkeys, elephants, and the Glamour and Facebook logos were emblazoned on the lemons and limes used to garnish drinks.

The 10th edition of BizBash Live: The Expo Los Angeles took place July 13 at the California Market Center. Glo Cone showcased its LED cone stick with illuminated cotton candy. The company's product is available nationally for a variety of events; candy is not included.Â
