Nolan Gould of Modern Family took aim at Splatoon Mess Fest. The course included a 20-foot inflatable slide with large ink pools at the bottom, an eight-foot climb-up wall, and exploding balloon targets.

Attendees like James Marsden and his daughter were able to get hands-on time with Splatoon and test out the Turf War multiplayer mode at several kiosks at the event.

The family-friendly game launches May 29, and will be available at retail stores and in the Nintendo eShop, where consumers can download the game digitally.
