Submitted by George P. Johnson Experience Marketing and Spinifex Group
At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janiero, George P. Johnson and Spinifex Group partnered with Cisco to share the brand’s story and connection to Brazil. To do this, a beachfront club at the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain was transformed into the “Casa Cisco,” where customers, prospects, and partners were invited to learn about the company’s involvement in the games and city through interactive exhibits. The structure is now a permanent fixture belonging to the local community.

Brand Activation Services’ Dream Caraoke transforms an exotic car like a Ferrari into a fully functional video karaoke booth, superimposing a moving road in the background for a realistic look. Videos can be shared via text, email, and social media. The company also offers branded soundproof recording booths for events. Pricing is available upon request.

This massive 40-foot-tall installation from All About Balloons featured almost 6,000 confetti-filled, custom-branded, and lighted balloons. The company’s eight-foot-tall balloon robot named Rupert was also on the trade show floor.

Powered by Chicago-based advertising agency Studio North, GameBuzz is set up like a traditional game show with a host, six hand-held buzzers, a display monitor, and six pre-loaded games. A company logo can be added to the interface, along with primary and secondary colors to match the brand. Plus, the game's questions and answers can be customized for the event. Beep is a beacon-enabled mobile app and attendee analytics platform. The system uses Bluetooth low-energy beacons to track attendee movement and dwell time, for example as they visit an exhibitor booth or attend a keynote session. Beep can also be used to send your guests location-based alerts and content, such as coupons, case studies, and website URLs, and can be set to trigger this content when they are anywhere from five to 230 feet from a beacon. Planners can access their event data in real-time from a Web-based dashboard.
