Groupon activated two photo booths for guests that had an outdoor adventure backdrop and a sushi-making backdrop. Photos were then turned upside-down, and guests were encouraged to share them on social media.

The Food Network & Cooking Channel booth, which was designed and managed by Chad Hudson Events, offered a lounge environment with branded pillows and televisions that screened network shows. The booth was built by 15/40 Productions and featured furniture from Designer8 and flowers from Botanica.

Pride Island

NYC Pride’s inaugural Pride Island, a three-day concert and festival experience, took place June 23 to 25 at Pier 26. The entrance to the pier featured a massive white frame photo op with the event hashtag. Another giant decor piece at the concert area was a cutout of a candelabra. The general design of the event was provided by NYC Pride.

NYC Pride sponsor Reyka Vodka, an Icelandic vodka brand, offered guests a swing that served as a photo op and a spot for attendees to relax.

Delta, Virgin Atlantic, and Coca-Cola showcased an illuminated rainbow GIF booth. Guests were invited to pose for multiple photos and could share their GIFs on social media using the hashtag #LetLoveFlyContest for a chance to win flights and prizes.

Near the new kayak and canoe section of the show floor, organizers created the Paddle Lounge, with colorful coolers functioning as the base for the bar that served coffee from Commune & Co.

Fusion, a first-time exhibitor at the show, covered the floor of its booth with images of surf and sand printed on vinyl, similar to what is used to create billboards. The company was featuring its new watersport stereo and wanted to simulate the environment where it is used.

Vagabond

Vagabond used wood from a vintage farmhouse in Iowa, where its warehouse is located, to create the frame for its 10- by 10-foot booth. Inside it used wooden curtain rods to display its colorful, round beach towels.
