Craddock said the dinner's floral mannequin head centerpieces, which were created Fifth Element Group, were meant to be disruptive and evoke Warhol's head, with the flowers standing in for his white wig.

The event showcased numerous projects from local artists including Couzyn Van Heuvelen, whose balloon installation reimagined the avataq, an Inuit sealskin hunting float.

Art Gallery of Ontario's inaugural Art Bash took place November 18. The red carpet area was inspired by Andy Warhol's Factory and showcased the museum's acronym in giant letters with a black and white color scheme. "The black and white was inspired by Warhol's use of black and white in many of his works," said Craddock. "The other half of it was touching on the history of the Factory. All the photos of the Factory were in black and white. We wanted to touch on that nostalgic element."

For a nostalgic touch, guests could have their wall photos taken with a Polaroid Land Camera, which printed out an instant picture to take home. The event's presenting sponsor RBC was responsible for the activation.
