1. C2 Montréal
Montreal
For three days in September, 8,500 attendees gathered at Canada's largest creative-business event to hear from a lineup of world-class speakers from brands like TikTok and Spotify, and take part in masterclasses, hands-on workshops, and hyper-creative experiential labs. For the first time, guests were also invited to participate in a slew of free outdoor activities (think: a Champagne bar, interactive installations, and a fishbowl-like live broadcast studio for listening to speakers) on the Esplanade PVM, the conference's central outdoor business and meeting place. The event’s alfresco extension added 65,000 square feet of extra space for networking, gathering, and learning. Next: May 24-26, 2023

Themed "Celebrating the Power of Connection," this year's conference featured 13 core content tracks, including a brand-new "security and risk" track, with more than 800 speakers sharing their insights on domestic and global hot-button topics. Sun Valley, Idaho
The Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference has certainly earned its nickname as the "summer camp for billionaires." Each year in July, the weeklong event draws the biggest names in tech, media, and financial markets, and has become a breeding ground for major business mergers and acquisitions over the years. Topics of conversation at this year's conference included Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter, the future of Disney with the company's CEO at the time, Bob Chapek, at the helm (he was let go just last month), and preparation for the potential recession in 2023. Heavy hitters in attendance included Musk, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Spanx founder Sara Blakely, business mogul Warren Buffet, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, and more. Next: July 2023
