The winners of the first-annual Toronto Readers' Choice Awards were announced tonight at BizBash Celebrates Toronto Events at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. Readers were first invited to nominate local event professionals in 11 categories and then, later, to vote on the finalists through our interactive voting site. In all, more than 41,000 votes were cast over the course of two weeks. The winners are:

Event Producer of the Year: Page Magen, Magen Boys Entertainment
Fund-Raising Event Planner of the Year: Dayna Bleeman, Princess Margaret Hospital
PR Professional of the Year: Debra Goldblatt-Sadowski, Rock-It Promotions
Social Event Planner of the Year: Kathleen Nakonechny, McNabb Roick Events
Venue Manager of the Year: Mary Patrick, Dave and Buster's
