Last night, following the Screen Actors Guild's eco-friendly awards program, People magazine and the Entertainment Industry Foundation hosted the official after-party on the back lot of the Shrine Exposition Center for the 13th year. The event, overseen by Cyd Wilson for Time Inc., honored the philanthropic causes and deeds of the members of the guild, and benefited the Screen Actors Guild Foundation.
The party had a new designer at the helm: Tony Schubert's Event Eleven took over all design elements for the party—previously designed by Stanlee Gatti—including the overall decor concept, lighting, flowers, tables, and fabric design. Schubert's look included mirrored surfaces, tufted leather furniture, custom pieces made of raw alabaster, buffet tables made out of raw slabs of wood from South Africa, and draped fabric everywhere.
