By the time the Academy Awards weekend officially kicked off, a broad slate of events had already taken over the Los Angeles landscape. Here's a peek inside four early events for Global Green U.S.A., OK magazine, QVC, and Grey Goose.

On March 5, QVC took to the Wetherly Garden at the Four Seasons for a party celebrating red carpet style. SPEC Entertainment designed and produced the event, where QVC conducted its first simultaneous live broadcast from a major event.

SPEC's work for QVC included seating areas with gold tables inset with contrasting gold Q logos, and gold planters with uplit palms. An ivy-faced bar with a backlit Q logo, plus a gold-trimmed stage with a full-length Swarovski crystal wall with a suspended gold Q logo completed the look. Lexington handled the scenic construction and Bernard Link Theatrical designed the lighting.

On March 3, Grey Goose and Alfre Woodard hosted a dinner at a private residence in Beverly Hills to celebrate African-American women in film. ESE Lifestyle produced the event, and chef Jeanette Holley catered the intimate dinner with a five-course French, Southern, and Asian menu paired with cocktails selected and created by Grey Goose attaché and sommelier Christophe Namer.

For the Grey Goose dinner, the table centerpiece made use of a long piece of petrified wood from an incense cedar tree, which covered the San Bernardino mountain range before it died out approximately 200 years ago. A local ranger estimated that particular tree was approximately 1,000 to 1,500 years old.
