New Sponsors to Blitz Fashion Week

Fashion Week fabulousness is all around, and according to Brandweek, some new sponsors have geared up to promote themselves to the jet-set crowd.

York Peppermint Patties will debut its silver wrapper-encased mint and dark chocolate patties at Fashion Week, touting them as low fat and healthy. The company’s also partnering with Nicole Miller to create limited-edition purses—proceeds from sales will go to cancer nonprofit the Young Survival Coalition.

W Hotels will promote its new Aloft hotels—the properties are slated for a 2007 debut—with Aloft-a-Go-Go, an Airstream trailer tricked out like Aloft’s loft-style guest rooms. Following Fashion Week, the trailer will begin a yearlong promotional tour to music and film festivals, awards shows, sporting events, and college campuses.

Finally Delta will give a taste of its friendly skies by showing off its new flight attendant and customer service agent uniforms designed by Richard Tyler in a special Fashion Week lounge. The lounge will proffer info on Delta’s new flights to Edinburgh and Düsseldorf, be stocked with products from British toiletries company Lush, and serve mojitos, the airlines new in-flight cocktail for the spring.
