Last Friday, the Southern California chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society promoted Pamela Thompson from campaign director to vice president of development of the special events department. In her new position, Thompson will oversee the nonprofit’s nearly $7 million special events income, which is generated by such annual gatherings as Walk MS and the Dinner of Champions gala.
