Toms Shoes—which popped-up last Saturday at a temporary location on Abbot-Kinney in Venice, where it will hold court until October 22—is getting on board with the political excitement surrounding next month's presidential election. The shoe brand is inviting college kids to come for an event on Sunday where they will be able to register to vote on site; USC, UCLA, Pepperdine, and other schools have already lined up representatives from campus political clubs and groups to discuss election-related topics with guests. Attendees will also be able to customize new kicks in their school colors with paints and stencils.
The Toms store launched on the eve of last weekend's Abbot-Kinney street festival.
