On August 13, National Harbor christened its own event venue, opening the 8,062-square-foot Sunset Room. Managed by the Peterson Companies and decorated in neutral shades, the space has floor-to-ceiling windows as well as terraces for views of the Potomac River and Woodrow Wilson Bridge.
Sunset accommodates 600 for receptions and 400 for banquets and can be divided into the 3,173-square-foot Plaza View room and 4,925-square-foot Harbor View room. For indoor/outdoor events, the venue can be combined with National Harbor’s tented Pier Platforms.
On 300 acres in Prince George’s County, National Harbor has six hotels, including the Gaylord Resort Hotel and Convention Center.
