Moxy Chelsea Opening Parties

Moxy Chelsea, the newest Moxy hotel in New York, held a grand opening party for the Fleur Room and Feroce Ristorante on March 7. The event welcomed guests with an arch of elaborate floral balls. Putnam & Putnam designed the arrangement.

Entire Productions recently designed and produced a Mardis Gras event for its clients, taking place at the Bently Reserve in San Francisco. The event had an elaborate installation of balloons in shades of green, purple, and yellow. Zim Balloons provided the balloons.

Old Navy’s International Women’s Day Skywriting Stunt

In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, Old Navy unveiled skywriting activations in locations in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. Messages of empowerment included “Shatter the Ceiling” and “Sky’s the Limit.” The brand partnered with Skytypers to create the messages.

Langham Love Stories

Event designer Preston Bailey led participants in his Preston Bailey Protege program to create floral installations inspired by weddings for each season on February 28 at the Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue. The autumn installation featured a canopy of roses with hanging grapes, as well as floral topiaries of animals including a peacock and a flamingo.

TBS’ ‘Miracle Workers’ Promotion

TBS promoted the series premiere of Miracle Workers, a limited series starring Steve Buscemi as God, for a weekend in February. Diners throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn were surprised with toast imprinted with Buscemi's face, along with TBS-branded placemats and toothpicks. Grandesign produced the stunt. Universal Pictures’ ‘Us’ World Premiere

Jordan Peele's new horror film Us premiered at Austin's Paramount Theatre during South by Southwest on March 8. The highly anticipated follow-up to Get Out, the movie follows a family that is terrorized by their own creepy doppelgängers—who are all carrying a pair of sharp gold scissors. Netflix’s ‘The Umbrella Academy’ Premiere Party

The premiere party for Netflix's new series The Umbrella Academy, inspired by the comic book of the same name, took place at NeueHouse Hollywood in February. The streamer worked with MKG to create the on-theme space, which included an eye-catching step-and-repeat made from neon lights. Taco Bell’s "Slide-Thru" Window

To publicize the revival of the Cheetos Crunchwrap Slider in Canada, Taco Bell created a “slide-thru” takeout window on March 2 at Horseshoe Resort in Ontario. For three hours, fans placed their orders at the top of a snow tubing hill, slid down on branded tubes, and grabbed their food from a takeout window at the bottom. Rimowa Activation at Frieze L.A.

German suitcase maker Rimowa celebrated a new collaboration with Los Angeles-based artist Alex Israel, debuting this summer, during the inaugural Frieze contemporary art fair in Los Angeles. The activation, which took place February 14 to 16, featured suitcase installations in shades of neon blue, orange, and pink, inspired by the Los Angeles sunset.
