This week's roundup includes Trojan's sex-ed van tour across Washington, Baltimore, and Philadelphia; Maleficent-theme ice cream from Morgenstern's at the Bustle Rule Breakers Festival in Brooklyn; Mastercard's "Taste of Priceless" Art Exhibition in New York; and Stella Artois' human-operated vending machines at Refinery29's 29Rooms in Toronto.

Mastercard ‘Taste of Priceless’
Mastercard commissioned an immersive exhibition that ran October 4 to 6 at Spring Studios in New York. The exhibition combined new and existing works by artists Monika Bravo, Marilyn Minter, Daniel Lismore, and Jennifer Rubell. Installations included animated and video projections on walls that wound through the gallery space. Levy NYC designed and installed the exhibition, and Kreemart curated the artists.

Mastercard ‘Taste of Priceless’
The event served macarons in Mastercard’s red and yellow colors; the flavors were named “Passion” and “Optimism.” Artist Raphaël Castoriano worked with French bakery Ladurée to create the desserts.

‘The New York Times’ Food Festival
‘The New York Times’ Food Festival
The inaugural New York Times Food Festival took place October 5 to 6 at venues including the TimesCenter and Bryant Park. Sponsor activations in Bryant Park included an Uber Eats photo op that invited attendees to pose on a bicycle in front of a block wall of food containers in various shapes and sizes. The wall displayed hashtags for the online ordering and delivery company.

Trojan Van Tour
Trojan Van Tour
Condom brand Trojan embarked on a van tour in early October, traveling to college campuses and highly foot-trafficked areas across Washington, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. The tour encourages people to have open conversations around sex and condom use, and provides activities such as sex-positive karaoke. Produced by Night After Night, the tour also offered hot dogs, a selfie booth, and adult sex-ed classes in partnership with local sex-positive influencers. The brand plans to launch a longer tour in 2020.

Sunglass Hut and Sarah Jessica Parker celebrated the launch of their new collection with an event on October 3 at the brand’s offices in New York. BMF produced and designed the launch, which had a step-and-repeat created with the actual sunglasses, design sketches, paint swatches, and glasses wipes.

Ashley HomeStore Presents Urbanology Powered by Pandora
Pandora and Ashley HomeStore’s third event this year took place October 5 at Goya Studios in Los Angeles, launching the furniture company's Urbanology line. Furniture from the new line was displayed in four vignettes, including a living room with a living wall created with succulents and the companies' logos. The event also featured a concert by Ne-Yo.

Stella Artois “Sensorium: Deja Food”
Stella Artois partnered with IMG to bring a multi-sensory dining experience to Refinery29’s 29Rooms, which came to Toronto September 26 to October 6 at Exhibition Place. The activation consisted of human-operated vending “machines.” After reading the menus printed on the machines, guests were instructed to insert a punch card with their order through a space in the middle. An unseen server would then serve dishes through the machine, such as raclette cheese bites and classic crème brûlée. Bustle’s second annual event for women and non-binary individuals took place September 21 at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Attendees lined up for free ice cream cones, provided by Morgenstern’s and inspired by the upcoming Disney movie, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Designed to eliminate plastic bottle water waste, the stations have appeared at the likes of Coachella, Oracle OpenWorld, and the Citi Open.
