Grammy Security Gets Beefed Up

The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Naras) is spending an extra $1 million on security for February's Grammy awards at Los Angeles' Staples Center, according to Entertainment Weekly's Web site. The ceremony will be comparatively somber and ''more meaningful,'' Naras chief Michael Greene told EW.com. ''I think you'll see a backing away from opulent numbers to more of a concentration on the music.''
