Forget about laser light extravaganzas—this spectacle immerses viewers in a dreamy, colorful world of digitally animated graphics set to music by alt-rock bands like Radiohead, Coldplay and the Flaming Lips mixed together by Moby. Presented by the American Museum of Natural History and MTV2, SonicVision is a new permanent addition to the Rose Center for Earth and Space's Hayden Planetarium. Opening this week, the wild audiovisual sensation will run every Friday and Saturday evening, and the 425-seat theater may be booked for private viewings of SonicVision for $10,000.
