Everyone's more security-minded these days. Here's some easy way to keep track of invited guests who have checked-in, and those who might have slipped in unnoticed. At Food & Wine's Best New Chefs party, invited guests received small metal tags manufactured by Kraus & Sons—the kind you wear at the Met after purchasing a ticket—so security guards could tell who had checked in. Another option: Alliance Rubber Company manufactures rubber bands in a variety of sizes and colors (shown here) that can be branded with a slogan or company logo, and they also come in glow-in-the-dark colors, so security guards can see the bands at a nighttime event or in a darkened room. —Suzanne Ito
