The California Canopy

The new California Canopy offers light, airy shelter for indoor or outdoor events. Created by AK Johnston Production Design, the open-sided structure can be made as small as 10 by 20 feet or as large as 60 by 80 feet. The overhead fabric panels are available in transparent voile or a thicker polyester-cotton blend, which diffuses natural light. For an additional fee, the company can attach lighting and speakers to the structure for surround sound. Pricing starts at $3,900 in the Southern California area, which includes installation; in other areas, prices are about 15 percent higher.
