For a six-city tour with German gin brand Monkey47, creative marketing agency BMF designed custom silk scarves—which were then styled on site to enhance attendees' personal looks. “We chose scarves over any other branded giveaway because they are definitely having a fashion moment and allowed for guests to still embrace their individuality,” explains Melissa Notaro, a creative director for BMF.

'It not only created a smooth transition, but it gave our audience an unexpected experience that was memorable and sparked conversation.”

The famed chef and the company's vice president of culinary, Eric Klein, are creating more than 60 dishes for the event, ranging from one-bite hors-d'oeuvres to tray-passed entrées. To celebrate the opening of its new hotel in Costa Rica, W Hotels hosted a tropical-theme party on the Santa Monica Pier on January 23. Guests could take a zip line ride through a neon light display over the crowd, then drink Costa Rica-inspired cocktails, eat dishes from Haute Chefs LA, and play carnival games. The event was planned by W Hotels' marketing team along with event firm Pen&Public.
