While the real Clintons watched election results at the Grand Hyatt, their new neighbors from Westchester's South Sound Medical Center were toasting with Clinton impersonators in the Grand Ballroom at the Waldorf=Astoria.
For the fundraising gala, Hank Lane Music & Productions hired comedians to entertain guests on Election Night. The not-so-convincing president (former Saturday Night Live cast member Jim Flaherty) and first lady-cum-senator (Christine Kelley Karel) gave cutesy speeches that incorporated officials from the medical center, but the crowd kept talking until the duo broke into "New York, New York." (Both are managed by Gina Lennon of Gina Lennon Associates.) After the jokes, the Hank Lane Orchestra played for guests.
