Targeting the families who attended Ziff Davis' first-ever DigitalLife consumer electronics show at the Javits Center, Google built a trade show booth designed around its "Build a Better Online Life" slogan, appealing to adults and kids alike.
Trademark Event Productions created the Lego-inspired booth, which represented the services Google offers through primary color-coded computer terminal areas. A green area represented "Froogle," Google's online shopping service; a blue area represented bulletin boards, email, and blog services; and the red area highlighted Google's search engine and news sites. A yellow "Construction Zone" area anchored the booth, asking users to "start building your online life." A giant Lego piece with a crane on top sat at the center of the display, and a jumble of colorful foam Lego pieces surrounded it inside a pen. The yellow station also featured tubs filled with Legos for kids to play with while their parents perused Google at the monitor stations.
