Hyatt Hotels & Resorts will introduce its second property under the Andaz brand on the Sunset Strip today. New York-based architecture firm Janson Goldstein LLP designed the 14-story Andaz West Hollywood, which features a glass garden pavilion and an 11-foot hand-painted metal sculpture from New York-based artist Jacob Hashimoto in the main entrance.
The hotel has 5,500 square feet of indoor meeting space. Additional meeting spaces include a rooftop deck and heated pool area for 100, and a French restaurant, RH, with 100 seats at communal and private tables. Groups may gather in the pool area and restaurant, however formal full buyouts are not generally permitted; the general manager will consider them on a case-by-case basis. The hotel features 257 rooms, including 20 suites.
