Opened on December 5, Arlington Rooftop Bar and Grill is one of the newest additions to the burgeoning Court House and Clarendon section of Arlington. This 7,000-square-foot restaurant is comprised of a main dining room, mezzanine, and its namesake rooftop bar (which opens this spring).
The indoor area can be bought out and host 319 people, with 284 seated in the main dining room and an additional 35 on the mezzanine. Alternately, the mezzanine can host a semiprivate reception for 67.
The rooftop patio will open April 1 and be able to accommodate as many as 145 people for private parties during warmer months. The space has its own centrally located slate bar and will have 20 movable tables with seating for 65.
Fully equipped for entertainment, the restaurant has 40 flat-screen TVs raging from 19 to 55 inches mounted on the walls, as well as each side of its four mosaic-tiled columns in the dining room. The mezzanine can also be used as a stage.
The menu consists of an extensive array of seafood appetizers and salads, as well as all American favorites like ribs, surf and turf, and six styles each of wings and burgers. There’s also a late-night menu with items like fried pickles, a ham and olive platter, and gramajo (shoestring fries covered with cheese and ham) until midnight Sunday through Wednesday and as late as 2 a.m. on weekends.
