DISCOVERY TO BROADCAST LIVE JUMP OFF MOUNT EVEREST: Following successful daredevil stunts such as Felix Baumgartner’s free fall from space and Nik Wallenda’s tightrope walk across the canyon, Discovery Channel will show a man jumping off of the summit of Mount Everest—live. It airs in May. Hollywood Reporter: “Discovery said it plans to air two hourlong pre-shows revealing his training and preparations, followed by the live two-hour broadcast that will show [Joby] Ogwyn's ascent to the summit and jump from the top. 2. SOCHI BLOCKS SHIPMENT OF CHOBANI YOGURT TO U.S. ATHLETES: The Russian government is tying up 5,000 cups of U.S. Olympic sponsor Chobani yogurt, citing customs regulations.
