As we ramp up for fall, these are some of the most important new event and meeting venues slated to open (or reopen) in Las Vegas, with options for everything from cocktail receptions and conferences to business dinners and corporate meetings. Here's a preview of the hotels, restaurants, bars, lounges, and other spaces the city will be buzzing about this season.
5. Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesar's Palace

Chef Gordon Ramsay is joining Caesar's Palace later this year with his second Las Vegas restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill. The 290-seat restaurant will have a backdrop inspired by traditional London red telephone booths and will have a British pub-inspired menu. A private dining room will be available for groups.

1. Bagatelle Las Vegas

Bagatelle is opening a Las Vegas location at the Tropicana Las Vegas. The complex will include a 500-person restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and two private dining rooms that each seat 40, and a nightclub with three full-service bars, two private bars, indoor and outdoor DJ booths, and a V.I.P. gaming area. Its sports amenities include two sand volleyball courts, two boccie ball courts, and a beach soccer court. The total property capacity is 4,000.

2. Krave Massive

The club, formerly the Krave Nightclub at Planet Hollywood, is relocating to the 80,000-square-foot former Galaxy 11 multiplex theater in the Neonopolis complex downtown. Krave Massive will include five dance rooms, three bars and a martini lounge, a comedy club, movie theater, outdoor pool with cabanas, and other spaces, and has the goal of becoming the world's largest gay nightclub. It is scheduled to open in late September.

3. Commonwealth

Commonwealth, a downtown bar inspired by the pre-Prohibition era, is scheduled to open in late September. The nearly 6,000-square-foot space will have a speakeasy for 25 guests, a 117-person downstairs space, and a rooftop bar for 125 people that has its own cocktail menu.

4. Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's newest live entertainment venue, Vinyl, debuted August 24. The multifunctional space, with a 650-person capacity and just under 7,000 square feet, has a speakeasy vibe decorated with distressed wood floors and exposed high ceilings. The V.I.P. section is elevated with leather banquette seating and its own bar. On both sides of the main stage, high-definition screens will project images and videos.

6. Hakkasan at MGM

Opening in early 2013, Hakkasan at MGM features five levels of event space. The 75,000-square-feet venue will house a restaurant, lounge, and a nightclub with modern Chinoiserie decor.

7. Laugh Factory Las Vegas

A branch of the famous Los Angeles comedy club, the Laugh Factory Las Vegas opened in April inside the Tropicana Las Vegas. The space holds 320 people, and private groups can book blocks into its regular shows or book completely private shows when the club is dark on Fridays. Laugh Factory and Tropicana Las Vegas have plans to design a Comedy Walk of Fame and a stand-up comedy interactive museum.

8. Chocolat Bistro

Palms Casino Resort has a fall opening scheduled for Chocolat Bistro, a combination of traditional European gelateria, creperie, and cremerie featuring crepes, handcrafted chocolates, gelato, and other desserts. With roots in Milan, Italy, its first U.S. location opened in 2008 in the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego (pictured).

9. D Las Vegas Casino Hotel

Formerly Fitzgeralds Casino & Hotel, D Las Vegas Casino Hotel is reopening this fall after a renovation. The hotel features 8,000 square feet of meeting space, one ballroom and four breakout rooms, 638 rooms and suites, and a two-level casino.

10. Golden Gate Hotel & Casino

In late August, the 106-room Golden Gate finished its first major expansion in 50 years, adding a 35,000-square-foot, five-story tower and an extended casino floor. A new lobby displays items from the hotel's history.
