Melting Pot Opens in North Florida

The country's largest fondue chain, Melting Pot Restaurants Inc., opened a new location in Jacksonville on April 4. Former corporate officers Dan Addison and Mike Robie, now co-owners of the restaurant, were able to collect $3,400 from pre-opening festivities to contribute to pediatric research at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The new facility is 5,500 square feet, with a patio, and seats 220—174 inside, and another 46 at the bar and patio.
