1. If you prefer to receive your antioxidants through the vine, a good place to start is the Grape, a 3,000-square-foot wine store and bar that serves gourmet small-plate fare. The round, dark-wood space opened in December 2006 near the Orange County Convention Center and holds 70 in the dining room and 30 on the patio. Chandeliers and parachute-fabric-covered chairs accent the dining room, while the store’s dominant color is, appropriately, purple.
2. Perhaps the most surprising venue in Downtown Disney’s Pleasure Island is Fuego by Sosa Cigars, a cigar bar that opened in June 2007. Aficionados can stroll through humidors filled with 100 premium smokes and puff on them at the 800-square-foot backlit bar or outside on the patio. The space holds 50, but don’t stroll through Disney World with your cigar—smoking is limited to designated areas.
